Being homeless can really cause a person some severe anxiety. So for all of y’all who have mentioned suffering from this, I now know how you feel for one week of my life and I give you major props. I don’t know how you survive year after year…woof.
I think I’ve got everything pretty much squared away. I should be in my own apartment come next weekend so keep your fingers crossed for me. Since I’ve gotten zero writing done this past week, I’ve been pullin form my discarded drafts and revampin them a bit. Today’s post comes to you courtesy of my own narcissistic and self-promoting ways 😉
As I’ve mentioned a few times since becoming self-hosted, I am now offering Sponsorships. You can click over to my Sponsor page if you’re already interested. Now I know I’m on the smaller end (growing every day though) it’s not just My opinion why sponsoring small-medium blogs is a good idea though. Read these other ladies thoughts.
BUT for those of you still unconvinced that sponsoring BlonderSide is a good idea, I’ve complied a list of 5 reasons why you should change your mind.
>> #1. You get my undivided attention. Literally, you might be the only one which means you get 100% of my attention and love. Even if you’re not though, I know how important it is you get what you paid for being a smaller blog myself. Your baby becomes my grand-baby (and we all know how much grandparents love to spoil their grandkids)
>> #2. I’ll work harder for you. Being a smaller blogger, I don’t have people clamoring to sponsor me. That means I’m gonna work EXTRA hard to make sure you get just what you paid for.
>> #3. I’m growing, you’re growing, let’s grow together. We’ve all heard the sage advice about blog friends helping each other grow. As I grow, you’ll be growing right along side of me, and referring back to 1 &2, I’ll make sure you get a seat on the train.
>> #4. If you don’t like my stats today, just wait until I publish at RunHaven. Every time I publish an article over at RunHaven, it gets linked back to my blog. It makes my stats sky-rocket into Big-Blogger ranges and keeps it there for the following week/half. Just a little math for you, I publish there two-three a month. I’m only goin up so refer back to #3.
>> #5. Listen to real Sponsors! I may only be a month in to this whole sponsorship thing, but here’s what my current sponsors have to say about their experience. I only paid them a little bit to say these nice things 😉
” I just want to let you know how amazing you are to your sponsors. Seriously…I don’t think I have ever had such amazing treatment before.” -Tori of Cupcakes and Crossbones
“I just wanted to say I think you’re doing a great job as a Sponsor (or are your the Sponsee?). I’ve sponsored a number of blogs, but only a few have been great, including yours. I appreciate the tweets and that you’re doing a post about your sponsors. I really feel like you care to help us out, which goes a long way.” -Ursula from Northern Ambitions
“I look toward to being on your sidebar next month! You were an awesome sponsor!!” -Ashley from A Faithful Passion
I feel a bit weird plugging myself so hard, but ain’t no shame in my game. I realize until I get some good blog-cred for sponsorships, anyone would be taking a chance on me. All I can say is, I believe it would be worth it 🙂
Also anyone who uses the code SEPTEMBER gets 20% off all my ad spots!
How’s that for customer service 😀 lol
Now tell me the #1 thing you look for in a blog to sponsor?
